Wideband Satellite Operational Control (WSOC) Facility
| Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS) in Wahiawa is a communication support facility that is connected with five other centers around the world. It provides 24/7 satellite control for the Department of Defense military wideband satellite communications constellation and commercial satellite communication resources. This 28,244 s.f. center was built on six acres and was designed to meet the LEED® Silver rating. Notkin Hawaii Inc. provided Quality Control services for mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and fire protection systems. This facility has obtained LEED (silver) certification. |
