| Notkin Hawaii Inc. provided CQC mechanical engineering services for plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation systems at this communications center. This state-of-the-art facility serves the U.S. Pacific Commander Pacific Fleet Headquarters, units, shore facilities of Commander Navy Region Hawaii, and tactical units. This 63,560 s.f. single-story building includes three state-of-the-art facilities. The Communication Center includes storage spaces, staging areas, conference rooms, showers/toilets, an access control system, climate control system, and emergency electrical power. The Supporting Facility includes a new parking lot with 135 stalls and the Switching Station is used to connect and disconnect transmission lines to and from the power grid. |
