| The Kapolei Entertainment Center, a stand alone complex was built in the mid-1990s, during the early stages of an emerging community in Kapolei. This entertainment plaza houses a 16-plex movie theater with 3,262 seating capacity. The complex includes 11,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space and 84,000 square feet of theater and ancillary function areas. Design for this complex included wet pipe fire sprinkler and hydrants, ventilation in restrooms, exhaust ducts for projectors, roof top air conditioners, heating, ventilation, and an air conditioning automation system to monitor and control equipment via remote monitoring terminals. |
