Castle Hall is a 4-story building with extensive lab facilities. Due to the design of the building, it has intensive air conditioning requirements. A heat recovery system controls humidity in certain areas of the building, as well as providing hot water to the necessary plumbing fixtures. We designed the "elephant trunk" vent tubes to solve the problem of constant chemical use which can cause damages to the interior of the building. Close coordination with the client was required; because the unique building design with aesthetics was a primary concern. |
